Ashley is growing up!  She is almost done with her “Tween” years…we only have one year until she will be a TEENAGER!   She recently turned 12 and will now get to go to Young Women instead of Primary.  It is an exciting time for her.

Ashley is in 6th grade and decided at the beginning of the school year to join the band and learn to play the alto sax.  Their very first concert was in December.  I was very pleasantly surprised when I heard them all play together…I thought they sounded really good.

School started in late July…CRAZY!! It was nice to get back to a routine, have some peace and quiet in the house…but none of us was ready to start getting up super early again. But love it or hate it, the first day of school always comes around and at least everyone looked Fabulous!

I can’t believe Ashley is headed to Middle School next year!  Yikes!  They had an “Advancement Assembly” for the 5th graders at the end of the school year to get them ready to move on.
