Donovan – Baseball, Fall 2010
Donovan has discovered that he has a PASSION for baseball. I have never seen him so interested in something before. It has been really fun to watch.
He is 10 and this is his first season playing. He did play T-ball back when he was about 5 or 6…but it wasn’t quite the same. He REALLY wanted to be catcher and got to do that several times in the season and did a pretty good job. As the season was ending he decided he might want to try pitcher (he’s a lefty and it would be cool). He is going to get some practice in before Spring ball and see what he can do. I love to sit and watch my kids play ball…especially in Spring and Fall when the weather is beautiful and it is so fun to be outside…so I am excited that he has decided he likes baseball!

Above: This is Donovan up to bat. He doesn’t get a hit…but he looks good 
. He became a good hitter by the end of the season. He could connect most of the time.
