Liz – Mormon Prom
A High School Prom can become prohibitively costly, and also, dress and music standards do not typically match those of members of our church. So, we feel lucky that the LDS (“Mormon”) Church offers an alternative to the High School Prom in our area (and other areas around the world). For us it is held in downtown Atlanta (Georgia Tech) and is available to multiple Stakes (or groups of church members who are geographically combined).
Liz went this year and also took some of her high school friends along. They came to our home first and had dinner at “The Mormon Bistro.” Ashley and Megan were the servers and Frank and I were the cooks in the kitchen 
. Afterward we made the drive down to ATL.
