Every year our Stake (multi-area church group) has one or two Youth Conferences for our kids ages 14-18. In the Spring, for the past several years, they have held a Carnival for kids with Special Needs as part of the Youth Conference. Donovan has some natural athletic abilities…and he has tried a few things here and there. But mostly he has been too shy and/or self-conscious to do much. But he finally decided he WANTED to do soccer and he has finally started to break out of his shell and be a little bit agressive with it. [...]

Frank was working in Greensboro, North Carolina, the week of Spring Break this year…so the kids and I drove up (5 1/2 hours) to see him and took in whatever sites we could find while we were there. It actually ended up being a very relaxing vacation…we spent a lot of time in the hotel [...]

We had a BEAUTIFUL Easter morning this year in Georgia.  It was General Conference weekend and we didn’t need to be to the church until noon…so we got to sleep in and enjoy.  We usually watch Conference on the Internet, but this year we decided to try it at the church…it was a good experience [...]
