So, since our temple is closed, we had to drive 3.5 hours over to Columbia, South Carolina, for our most recent Youth Temple Trip. It was a great trip though because FOUR of our kids were able to go and PJ was able to go to the temple for the very first time and do Baptisms for the Dead (since he had just turned 12).
We left Ashley and Donovan at home with Aunt Sandi and it was a very quiet trip, for some reason

Above: We stayed that night in Columbia and did a little site-seeing the next morning. We discovered there really isn't much to see in Columbia, however :-). But we did enjoy the Capitol building...it was really beautiful.
